As some of you may know “London Fashion Week is a clothing trade show held in London twice each year…”. This event occurs in February and September with loads of talks, catwalk shows and possibly the ultimate designer shopping experience in London and of course I just had to go!
I went to LFW on the very last day, 27th of September and trust me it was worth it. There’s so much to see, the buzz is awesome and the catwalk was more than I expected. Right now I’m booming with ideas on how to rock this season’s trends and over the week I hope to share my interpretation on them with you.
Today however I would just give you a brief overview of what to expect this coming season – AW15 and a few looks from the runway.
Into the wild
This trend encapsulates everything animal print and animal skin. From snake prints to faux fur it’s not surprising that we can expect to see a lot of these trends over the next few months.
Taking it a step further, we are not just talking about wearing one print with neutral colours but possibly having a clash of prints. Wearing snake print with fur or leopard prints with fur, the possibilities are endless.
Also, instead of sticking to coats or tops in animal prints why not try out shoes and accessories as well? They are much easier to pull off and would definitely put you on the trend path.
This trend is all about unleashing the inner wild child. From Leather to studs, tartan to velvet -Anything with a touch of Rock to it!
Shades of Marsala
All shades of red, plum, paprika, burgundy and the likes – It’s so perfect for transitioning from Summer to Autumn!
A perfect way to style this trend would be with your layers – leather jacket, blazers; and your shoes. I’m definitely looking forward to investing in some red toned boots this season. Any suggestion on where I can get a nice pair?
I hope you found this insight useful! I can’t wait to see what the style scene this season would be like. Join in and don’t be shy to take that bold step in experimenting!
Until next time… MUAH!!!
