DIY Lipstick Palette_-33

Reuse & Recycle… Two words that I have firmly driven into my head as a Chemical Engineering student. Well, translate this to makeup and you have your very own customized lipstick palette made using lipstick stubs and an old makeup palette. Here’s how to go about it. First a list of things you’ll need:

An oldΒ Makeup Palette – I used my old sleek highlight palette

Some Lipstick Stubs

AΒ Table Spoon

A Table knife

A Candle

A Lighter

Some Tissue paper to clean up as you go

Step 2

Cut out our Lipstick stub from its container and place it into your table-spoon.

Step 3

Light your candle and place your table-spoon over it to melt your lipstick.

Avoid letting the lipstick boil. You only want to melt it

Step 4

Once the lipstick is melted, pour it into one of the palette containers.

Repeat step 3-4 for every colour you wish to do.

Step 5

Once you’re done, leave the palette to set at room temperature and your very own lipstick palette is ready to use!

This palette is the perfect for taking on trips, sleep-overs and outings and it’s even more perfect because you’ll have all your favourite colours in one place!

What do you think? ^_^

P.S. – My mirror got messed up somewhere in the middle of creating this post because of some silly thing I did (Don’t ask what lol)
