Lifestyle || Fringe Soirée by Le Rouge by Amma – Shopping Party

Towards the end of October, I got an invite to attend a shopping party in Abuja. It was my first ever invite to such an event and apart from the excitement of going to a party to shop #haha, I think I was more excited about the brand that was hosting the event – Le Rouge by Amma.

Le Rouge is a brand owned by a young creative designer Amma Indimi. Le Rouge caters to the sophisticated woman with a fun flair… The brand “… appreciates the body of the woman and believes in simplistic chaos, hence, brings you elegant designs using bold prints, luxurious fabrics, and intricately woven and beaded textiles” – excerpt from the Brand’s website

I absolutely love and agree with the phrase simplistic chaos and the Fringe Soirée was the perfect way to show just how elegant and chic chaos can be.

Various people from all over Abuja attended the event which took place at the brand’s store in Wuse 2 Abuja.  Over the months, I had visited the brands website several times to have a glance at their collection. So being able to see every piece from their collection, displayed so elegantly across the store made the experience so surreal for me. The minimalistic nature of the store with gold highlights everywhere, dangling lights in all the perfect places, decor placed in the right corners, mirrors on every side and so much more, made it the ultimate elegant lady’s shopping haven! Lightly packed racks, simple but structured displays and winding staircase that led to the upper floor made everything so perfect!

Of course, parties are never fun when attended alone and so I was so glad to be there with Kachi, Rhoda and Onyinye of Vibes by Onyinye. You can imagine what bloggers do when they are in pretty clothing, there are so many cameras and a great environment for pictures to be taken… and we didn’t hesitate to get to it.

Networking, eating, drinking and taking pictures all about the place seemed to be the order of the day for us! ^_^

Mid way through the event, my legs began to ache and I had to leave early because I felt my feet begin to blister (Heels issues)… but at the end of it all, I was glad I went!

If not for anything else, it was great to see all the wonderful designs by the brand, socialise with old friends, make new ones and feel fabulous while doing so!

A Quick thank you to Le Rouge by Amma for gifting me this wonderful fringe jacket that you’ll definitely be seeing more of here on HighStreetMania! – I bet you didn’t know it was a jacket I wore 😌#StylingAtItsBest!
